  1. Is Shady Knoll Home a smoke-free facility?
    Yes, Shady Knoll Home is a smoke free facility.
  2. Are there individual rooms available?
    If space permits, we make every effort to provide individual rooms to residents who would like more privacy.  However, Shady Knoll does not turn away new residents if beds are available in shared rooms.
  3. Does your staff have any on-going training?
    Yes. Our staff has yearly state certified continuing educational training.

  4. How are medications monitored?
    Our trained staff distribute resident medications four times daily or as needed to our residents.  These medications are prescribed medications by our local medical doctors and filled by our local pharmacy. All medications are locked in a secure area.
  5. How are medical emergencies handled?
    We use Burnett Medical Center which is located within two blocks from our facility.
  6. What are your payment arrangements?
  7. There are two main ways that individuals pay.
    - Privately.   Residents or loved ones privately pay for the residents stay.
    - Subsidized programs through the county.
